My Summer Garden is alive with birds and butterflies. Day lilies abound with foreground coleus and hostas in bloom. Cardinals are having an afternoon drink at the bird bath while hummingbirds sip nectar from the red flowers on the trellis. Butterflies are enjoying the flowers as well as they flit about. Lois Getz Mountz has shown her works throughout the Ohio area for many years and has participated at prestigious shows from Virginia Beach, Va to Florida. Lois has won numerous awards through the years and has had many one-woman shows as well. She works in all painting media, but especially loves watercolors and oils. Most of her works are realistic but she has also painted many more contemporary 'scapes'. Lois is a retired church organist.
