Artist's Description
This painting was done in my friend's doll room where she housed her large collection
of dolls. The doll pushing the carriage was about 36" tall, an antique German doll, and was the most valuable doll in her collection. My friend is gone now, but her daughters share in her love
of dolls.
About Lois Mountz
Lois Getz Mountz has shown her works throughout the Ohio area for many years and has participated at prestigious shows from Virginia Beach, Va to Florida. Lois has won numerous awards through the years and has had many one-woman shows as well. She works in all painting media, but especially loves watercolors and oils. Most of her works are realistic but she has also painted many more contemporary 'scapes'. Lois is a retired church organist.
