Such memories I have of what we did when we were young. In the winter, after a good snow, of course, we couldn't wait to get home from school to take to the hill behind our house with our sleds. There wasn't much light left when we got home on the school bus, so after a snack we enjoyed our 'fliers' until dark, then enjoyed a late dinner. Those were the good old days!!!!! Thanks, mom, for waiting dinner for us.

Lois Getz Mountz has shown her works throughout the Ohio area for many years and has participated at prestigious shows from Virginia Beach, Va to Florida. Lois has won numerous awards through the years and has had many one-woman shows as well. She works in all painting media, but especially loves watercolors and oils. Most of her works are realistic but she has also painted many more contemporary 'scapes'. Lois is a retired church organist.
